Sport has a huge part to play in this and we already have an international air show, power boat races, the Portrush Raft Race and several major golf tournaments which could be examined for expansion.

Tourism is the biggest industry in the constituency and we must learn to fully embrace it and work energetically for its sustainability and further development which means improving standards in the hospitality sector and improving our amenities.

Providing more accommodation is critical too but the climate must be right for sustaining business all year round whether in business and conferencing or through additional visitor attractions which extend the traditional Easter-Summer period.
