Life's A Beach - Award-Winning Ones At That!

Ulster Unionist Parliamentary candidate for East Londonderry, Cllr David McClarty MLA has expressed his delight that five award-winning beaches from East Londonderry have made it into a new book on the best UK beaches Mr McClarty said ‘this acknowledges the hard work undertaken by Coleraine and Limavady Borough Councils and their commitment to deliver a first class service to visitors and local residents alike’. In a statement Cllr McClarty said, “I am absolutely delighted by the news. To maintain such high standards time and time again is not easy and I congratulate all those involved in this fantastic achievement “Throughout the years, Coleraine and Limavady Borough Councils in partnership with other agencies have endeavoured to deliver a first class service. The beaches in the area thoroughly deserve this reward. “This also reinforces the North Coast’s credentials as one of the premier resorts in not just Northern Ireland but in the whole of the United Kingdom. I would encourage everybody to sample the delights, which the North Coast has to offer.”
